About This Treatment
Thai massage is done on a mat on the floor rather than a table, and you stay fully clothed in loose comfortable wear. There is no oil. Instead of kneading muscle, your therapist moves you through a sequence of assisted yoga-like stretches while applying pressure along the body’s energy lines with palms, thumbs, forearms and feet.
Because it opens hips, hamstrings and shoulders in a way an oil massage cannot. If you have spent the day climbing a volcano trail or paddling, Thai massage restores range of motion rather than just easing surface tension. Most people finish it feeling energised rather than sleepy.

A clear area of floor about the size of a double bed is enough. We bring the mat. If your room is tight, tell us when you book and we will bring the table instead and adapt the work.
